Following a house fire at this property, the fire inspector sent a report ot Bolton at Home detailing all the work that needed undertaking.

Later, the inspector stated no charge should be made to the tenant.

During a visit from a representative of the Horwich Hub a debt collector, working on behalf of Bolton at Home, arrived and attempted to recover monies for work that had not been carried out.

Outstanding issues include, but are not limited to:

  • Hole in an external door to part of the property,
  • Rotten framework.
  • No internal doors to the ground floor of the property.

After receiving a notice seeking possession of the property the tenant continued to be harassed.
This property is classed as a vulnerable household.

Multiple complaints have been made on behalf of the tenant by the Horwich Hub regarding the debt collectors and bailiffs involved in chasing the tenant for monies not owed.

The photographs below show doors fitted after the Horwich Hub became involved
